Sara’s Got A Sunbeam
Brad Wolfe first single, and a re-release- from his upcoming project : The Love, Life and Loss Mixtapes. This track sets the tone for a deeply personal project, exploring themes of love, growth, and resilience through his signature sound.
“This was the anthem I wrote for my childhood love Sara when she was sick with cancer. It was me and 9 of her girlfriends for 2 years, with me playing regular concerts in her hospital room and talking about life, death, and the in between. “ - Brad Wolfe
Cover You In Flowers
The second single on Loss Mixtape is deeply personal, capturing the day I played music for her as she died from cancer at 32. She joined Reimagine after losing her mother to cancer and was later diagnosed herself. She taught that death is a gift to live fully, not feared. We honored her at Reimagine events. The song reflects her final day, paired with a photo of her husband covering her in flowersa promise to stay until the end. This tribute preserves her spirit.
“During her brave journey, she advocated that death wasn’t something to be afraid of, but a gift to teach us to be present”
Why Wait?
Inspired by Brad’s grandparents, who survived the Auschwitz concentration camps, the track pays homage to their remarkable resilience and the rich, full lives they led despite facing unimaginable hardships. Through poignant and evocative lyrics, "Why Wait" encourages listeners to recognize the fragility of time and to approach life with intention, bravery, and urgency.
This single stands as a powerful tribute to the strength found in survival and serves as a stirring call to live fully amid the uncertainties of life.
“Why Wait is about remembering that we die, but also remembering therefore that we are alive”
