Meet Brad
It All Started When…
Brad Wolfe and the Moon is a musical project birthed as soon as Brad met the Moon, as a young child. Since then, they have been playing and writing songs together, in constant connection and yet always evolving and growing. They have been through loss and heartbreak and joy and rock and roll, present in each others’ lives for all the peak moments. Whether a new moon, a half moon, a full moon, or somewhere between, the stage is always filled with love.
The San Jose Mercury News, declares that Brad should be “compared with Paul Simon and Cat Stevens for his intelligent lyrics and distinctive songs.” Notice they didn’t mention the Moon, a grave injustice. Brad owes so much to the Moon, especially for eliciting that sense of awe and wonderment that keeps childlike innocence alive.

Brad Wolfe is the founder and executive director of Reimagine, an organization that brings diverse communities together to channel life’s biggest challenges into meaningful action and growth. With a belief that by facing death we begin to live more fully, Reimagine End of Life festivals and events have quickly become the largest end-of-life convenings in the United States. Reimagine was recently named a "World Changing Idea" by Fast Company Magazine.

Inspired by Brad’s grandparents, who survived the Auschwitz concentration camps, the track pays homage to their remarkable resilience and the rich, full lives they led despite facing unimaginable hardships. Through poignant and evocative lyrics, "Why Wait" encourages listeners to recognize the fragility of time and to approach life with intention, bravery, and urgency.
This single stands as a powerful tribute to the strength found in survival and serves as a stirring call to live fully amid the uncertainties of life.
